Here the maroon line is from a  track recorded in a ColorTrak 3D Mode with a track-record mode of 0.01Mi, and the blue track is from a track recorded in a Garmin G-12XL in the Auto mode -all recorded simultaneously.  The course was traversed three times with a tree cover of about 50% and an elevation change of about 100 feet.  Examining the tracks does not show any discernible ColorTrak accuracy improvement under these conditions.
